Can AI Provide Passive Income? Week 17 Insights

This past week has marked an exciting new beginning for this project, and for me, creatively.
As I wrote last week, I decided to start fresh with a brand-new faceless channel, fully focused on AI-generated content.
This week, that plan became a reality.
A New Channel, A Clearer Focus
I’ve officially launched the new channel, taking the time to create a name, design the logo, and develop the cover imagery. While I’ll keep the specifics of the channel private for now, the theme is fully aligned with the idea of building passive income through AI creativity. It’s been refreshing to start from a clean slate, especially with a clear sense of direction this time.
The next step in this journey has been creating storyboards for two long-form videos. This is based on advice I’ve seen consistently: when launching a new channel, release two strong videos back-to-back.
The reason to release two videos immediately is that when someone watches the first, they’re more likely to continue watching the second, and this can also provide YouTube with more data to understand your intended audience. It feels like a strategic move to give the new channel the best possible start.
Planning in 12-Week Blocks: A New Way to Think
Outside of the channel launch, another concept has captured my attention this week: The 12-Week Year. After finishing the book, by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington, I’m excited to begin implementing its key ideas, not just in this AI project, but across my business as a whole.
The central premise is that instead of planning over 12 months, you set your goals over 12 weeks. It condenses your focus, sharpens your decision-making, and encourages more urgency around the actions that matter. What I particularly like is how this short-term intensity still supports your long-term vision, whether that’s personal, professional, or both. And for me, those areas feed directly into each other.
I’m currently adjusting my business planning around this method, with next week (Week 18) being the beginning of my first “Week 1” in the 12-Week Year model. I’m hopeful this structured approach will help me maintain momentum with the new channel while giving greater clarity to my overall goals.
Looking Ahead
Week 17 has been about laying new foundations, with a new channel, a new structure, and a renewed mindset. With content creation underway and strategic planning in place, I’m excited to see what progress can be made when focus meets intention.
Are you using any frameworks to structure your goals and energy? I’d love to hear how others are approaching the second half of the year.
